After completing the Leopard 51 PC, we continued working to find ways to further improve on the powercat hull efficiency. The extensive testing program from the 51 helped us to do this and the net result is a yacht which gets very close to the speeds the 51 can do despite being 8 ft shorter and having 220 less Horsepower fitted. Space wise this yacht gives you the same dramatic difference as we experienced on the new Leopard 40. The interior volume is 30% bigger than on the old 39 PC and the flybridge area starts challenging that of the 51 Powercat.

There were no details left unattended in the creation of the new Leopard 43 Powercat, including the hull design, the updated interior, and much more. Built by Robertson & Caine with exterior design by Simonis Voogd Design, the Leopard 43 Powercat replaces the Leopard 39 Powercat. The Leopard 43 PC is a completely redesigned mid-sized catamaran built with the quality foundation that has come to be expected of Leopard Catamarans.
The stepped hull design adds interior volume above the waterline, allowing for roomier accommodations in the hulls without sacrificing the performance of the yacht. With narrower hulls and less wetted surface below the waterline, the Leopard 43 PC reaches an impressive maximum speed of 24 knots and maintains exceptional fuel efficiency consistent with all Leopard power catamaran models.
The Leopard 43 PC features a large flybridge which includes a grill, wet bar and direct access to the sunbathing platform found forward. Inside, the galley of this powercat is located forward and the forward-facing settee and table are now located aft. This layout, with sliding glass doors between the settee and aft cockpit seating area, plus a large window forward and access door to the bow, allow for nearly 360-degree panoramic views and create a feeling of continuous indoor-outdoor living space.
Maya Bay – The Beach
The Island is probably most famous for the Leonardo Di Caprio movie “The Beach”which was set in the stunning Maya Bay which is located on the uninhabited Phi Phi Leh which is the 2nd biggest of the Islands.
Maya Bay’s beach, closed last year (2018) to allow coral restoration and beach recovery, could remain closed to visitors for many years. Maya Bay is located in the Phi Phi Islands between Krabi and Phuket. The famous Koh Phi Phi Ley beach needs time for its ecology to fully recover years of tourist abuse, this according to the Phi Phi National park chief Vorapot Lomlim as reported in Khaosod English.“Maya Bay must continue to be closed until nature has fully recovered. We expect it will take four to five years.”
Loh Sama Bay
Loh Sama Bay is home to many unique attractions. Popular for snorkeling and diving, the Bay is located on the eastern side of Phi Phi Island and features a small islet in the center and a secluded beach behind a small canyon on the northern part. You’ll be able to enjoy a photo opportunity at Loh Samah. There will be plenty of photos to show family and friends when back home!
Viking Cave & Monkey Beach
There’s more sightseeing to be enjoyed on this tour. We’ll glide past Viking Cave, reputed to have been a spot for pirates, and Monkey Beach where you might be able to spot some swimming monkeys! Whilst not a common trait amongst monkeys, this rocky island is home to several monkeys and they can swim. Get your cameras ready for some stunning photos of these smart creatures.
Snorkel & Relax on White Sandy Beaches…
Enjoy the stillness and silence of the sea whilst you snorkel through a vista of stunning underwater scenery with colorful coral reefs and schools of fish. Our tour leaves you with ample time to enjoy the beauty of the sea at a relaxed pace.
Bamboo Island
Bamboo Island is the most northeasterly island in Phi Phi. It’s a tropical hotspot, yet never too crowded, perfect for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of other, more popular spots. This heart-shaped island gives plenty in terms of views. It’s surrounded by a strip of white sand, with lush vegetation, including Bamboo trees in its middle. Snorkeling here is great; the island is blessed with a notable coral reef rich with fish species.

Krabi located in southern Thailand’s west coast facing the Andaman sea. There are over 80 smaller islands such as Ko Lanta and Phi Phi, Poda Group of islands, Koh Hong Krabi, well-known to adventurers,
Ko Poda is an island off the west coast of Thailand, in Krabi Province, about 8 kilometres (5 mi) from Ao Nang. It is part of the Mu Ko Poda, or Poda Group Islands, which are under the administration of Hat Nopharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. The group consists of Ko Poda, Ko Kai, Ko Mo and Ko Thap
Join us for a day either from Krabi or Phuket to the Poda Group of Islands. Beautiful and just perfect get away.
As Poda Island is one of Krabi’s main tourist attractions; it can get somewhat busy.
More so during the high season when day trips and tour groups arrive for lunch after spending the morning island hopping and snorkeling around these beautiful offshore islands.
The best spot for swimming and snorkeling on Koh Poda is either at the northern tip of the Island in front of the towering limestone islet that sits just offshore or along the eastern facing beach.
Other activities available at Poda Island include kayaking.
This beautiful Marine National Park is World Famous, with Spectacular Limestone cliffs towering out of the sea. Kayaking in the caves is very popular here, and you can hire them for 500 baht. Then you can cruise to James Bond Island – whether you go ashore here or not is up to you. After that the boat can speed across to several other more secluded islands and the crew will inflate the jacuzzi where you can sit and float and relax and have a beer
Racha Yai island is best known as excellent diving and snorkelling daytrip destinations. It is located 12 km south of Phuket. Racha Yai is a granite island with beautiful
beaches and bays all around and dense tropical jungle covering the interior. There are several dive sites at Racha Yai. Most of those sites are suitable for all levels of diver and Racha Yai is often the location for student divers first open water dives. Visibility is always good and currents mild.
Racha Yai Island
Racha Noi island is Racha Yai’s smaller twin located about 40 minutes boat ride further south of Racha Yai island. The diving at Racha Noi is far superior to Racha Yai, it is arguably the best of the local Phuket dive sites. Racha Noi is a long thin granite island covered in dense jungle and is uninhabited. There is a range of diving here for experienced and inexperienced divers. Plus some excellent snorkeling opportunities.
This is by far the most popular boat cruise for our guests.
Maithon is a private island off southern Phuket coast. This area is gorgeous, has very clear waters and the snorkelling is good.
There is a pod of around 22 Dolphins which can be seen on this boat cruise about 80% of the time.
It is a perfect place to put up our slide from the top deck, and inflate the floating jacuzzi and slide because the waters are so clear.
Maithon is a private island off southern Phuket. We highly recommend this cruise because it is such a beautiful area with crystal clear water and a pod of more than 20 dolphins. Baby dolphins spotted recently!
We sail first to the Kai islands in the morning and then cruise south to Maithon Island where the crew will anchor, and prepare your lunch, while you play with all the boat water “toys” like the floating jacuzzi, water bike, hammocks and enjoy snorkeling.
Maithon waters are great for snorkeling, as they are crystal clear with many tropical fish.
In the afternoon, the boat can call in to Rang Yai islands, where you can play with all the boat “toys” and swim to the beach.
Koh Rang Yai is a small uninhabited island about 5km off the east coast of Phuket, which has a fabulous long white sand beach on the west with views back to the mainland. Though there is virtually no develpment on the island, there are several local beach restaurants set in the shade of the trees. The beach is idyllic with overhanging trees giving plenty of shade. There is a smaller beach on the western side of the island and you can walk through the coconut groves to reach it. At the centre of the main beach is the pearl farm and shop.. Here you can see the various stages of pearl production. The forested interior has some good trails for hiking. You can rent mountain bikes for a ride along the trails around the island. There is also some reasonable snorkeling around the rocky headlands. The water on the east side of the island is not always so clear, but the beach is lovely for swimming. You can sit in the shade of the coconut trees, and take a refreshing dip in the sea, or relax in our floating Jacuzzis.
There is a possibility of calling in at the tiny island of Koh Phae too if it is low tide.
Ko Phae is a tiny rocky island out on its own in the middle of the Andaman Sea, with a wonderful surprise of a beautiful sand bar which appears miraculously at low tide. Usually deserted, this is a lovely place to anchor off in one of our boats if the timing of your day cruise fits in with a low tide.
